Frequently Asked
Questions

Everything you actually want to know before you buy.

Does it leave residue on my hands or desk?

No. Beast Putty is formulated to stay cohesive — it won't flake, crumble, or leave oily residue on your hands or surfaces. Clean and tidy, every time.

How long does a jar last?

Most customers report weeks to months of daily use from a single jar. The putty doesn't dry out when stored in its jar between sessions.

Is it safe for kids?

It's non-toxic and safe for anyone. We designed it for adults and teens who need real stress relief — not a toy, but a tool. If a younger kid finds it, it's safe in their hands too.

Does Beast Putty get sticky over time?

No. Beast Putty is 100% silicone-based — it will never get sticky, dry out, or leave residue on your hands. Many competing putties use non-silicone formulas that degrade within months. Ours stays the same on day 300 as day 1.

Is it quiet enough for Zoom calls and meetings?

Dead silent. No clicking, no snapping, no crinkling. Beast Putty is the fidget tool you use with your camera on.

Will it stain my desk or clothes?

No. Beast Putty does not leave residue, oil marks, or color transfer. Keep it on your desk, in your pocket, on your lap during calls — no cleanup needed.

What's your return policy?

We stand behind every jar. If Beast Putty doesn't help within 30 days, contact us at hello@beastputty.com and we'll make it right.

Do you actually donate to NAMI?

5% of every sale goes to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). No asterisks, no thresholds — every purchase contributes.

Why does thinking putty get sticky over time?

Most putty brands use formulas that absorb oils from your skin and dust from surfaces. After a few weeks or months of daily use, they get tacky, gummy, or start picking up everything on your desk. Beast Putty's silicone formula is built differently — it doesn't degrade with daily handling. No sticky phase. No crumbling. No "I need a new one every month."

Will Beast Putty actually help with ADHD?

We're not doctors, so we won't make medical claims. But here's what occupational therapists say: tactile fidgets work best when used in "secondary attention" — meaning you mindlessly manipulate them while focusing on something else. The tactile resistance gives your nervous energy somewhere to go instead of bouncing your leg, picking your skin, or doom-scrolling. A lot of our ADHD customers say Beast Putty is the fidget they actually kept using after the novelty of spinners and cubes wore off.

Can I use Beast Putty during therapy sessions?

Absolutely — a lot of therapists already keep putty on their desks for exactly this. It helps you relax when you're discussing difficult issues, gives your hands something to do so the hard conversations can actually happen. The color change gives both you and your therapist a visible cue that you're grounding. Silent, no mess, fits in your pocket on the way to the appointment.
